Sponsorship

For much of our time Bromley Œcumenical Singers (BOES) have benefited from business sponsorship, but this has ceased. At the moment, therefore, we are looking for sponsors to help us continue our charitable work helping others.

If you know of, or are, a business which might be interested in sponsoring us, please phone our Treasurer on 020 8851 5950.

BOES Young Musicians Bursary Fund

BOES started this fund in 1988, to give encouragement to young musicians from the Bromley area who have contributed their talents on a regular basis to supporting and developing music for worship.

We have given bursaries to many young musicians and our latest recipient of a bursary is our formal rehearsal accompanist, Jennifer Hughes

…and we don’t just give money –

BOES offers a performance platform for the musicians that we help. Previous recipients have appeared as soloists and orchestral players, and have had compositions performed at our major concerts.

If you have a candidate for consideration, please phone our Treasurer on 020 8851 5950.

Sarah Hebdon Bursary Fund

This fund was set up in memory of Sarah Hebdon, a young violinist who played in, and sometimes led, the orchestra for BOES, and who died tragically at the age of 37. The fund is primarily for string players, but we would be pleased to consider applications from any young, aspiring orchestral players.
